Giving Tuesday
An International Day of Giving

You’ve probably heard about Giving Tuesday, the day.

It’s the annual event dedicated to boosting radical generosity, held on the Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The idea behind Giving Tuesday was to set aside a single day to counter consumerism by giving back. It's not just about giving funds, it's also about giving time, expertise, experience, and setting goals to give back in the new year.

Our goal for Giving Tuesday is 2 fold:
Raise $5,000
Gain 10 new long term volunteers for 2026

Why join us? Why donate?

Here's the deal. Since 1999, the All Star horses, instructors, and volunteers have given hundreds of thousands of hours of therapeutic horseback riding lessons. They have helped riders walk for the first time, and walk again after trauma. They have helped riders speak for the first time, and relearn complicated cognitive skills. They have shown up for the DFW community time and again: from appearing with horses and riders in parades, to doing outreach locally in Mansfield, to awarding scholarships and discounts to all riders, and especially to those with challenges for payment.

Monetary donations keep the horses fed, the scholarships available, the barn and arena maintained.

Volunteer time keeps the riders safe, lessons happening, and ensure the magic of the horse happens.
